As president and founder of Ownership Advisors, Richard is passionate about helping successful families manage, protect and transfer their total wealth. Richard is the creator of The PurposedWealth System�, a unique process for affluent families and entrepreneurs to build alignment between financial wealth and life purpose. With over twenty years of experience, Richard has authored many articles on business succession and charitable estate planning. In addition to counseling his own clients, Richard successfully engineered his own exit strategy after more than 10 years with a prominent local family held business.

Enthusiasm, confidence and compassion are what people say after meeting Mark Van Drunen. His strong analytical skills and warm demeanor help Mark deliver Raving Fan Service to our wealth management clients.
Mark brings a rare combination of technical ability, communication, and leadership to Ownership Advisors. With both a Master's Degree in Financial Planning and Taxation, along with his Certified Financial Planning designation, Mark is uniquely qualified to serve even our most demanding wealth management clients. Prior to joining Ownership Advisors, Mark was head of financial and estate planning for the largest independent brokerage firm in the U.S. Most recently, Mark worked with some of the most successful high net-worth families in the area, managing over $170 million for a large local bank.

Mark brings unusual passion to help those less fortunate than himself. Right out of college, his first job was teaching disadvantaged young people how to work. According to Mark, "I was blessed to be raised in a great family with strong values and work ethic. Giving back was something I learned early on."
Mark and his wife, Sarah, live in Hudson and enjoy sharing time with their two young daughters and extended family. Mark is very involved with his local church and enjoys leading a small Bible study in his spare time. He also plays soccer in a weekend men's league.

Sean Hesch brings enthusiasm and a mile-wide smile to everyone he meets. Sean enjoys helping people by finding opportunities to work toward solving complex financial problems with elegant and simple strategies. With more than 7 years of experience in financial services, Sean understands how planning, wealth management and insurance work together to form the foundation of a successful financial strategy.
Sean attended the College of Wooster, where he earned a B.A. in Economics. He holds the National Association of Securities Dealers Series 6, 7 and 63 registrations and is in the process of completing his CFP designation.
Sean enjoys playing soccer, traveling and being outdoors. Sean enjoys being around people and is past president for membership for a local Jaycees organization. Sean recently bought an older home in Seven Hills and is having fun renovating both inside and out from the bottom up.

With over a decade of Administrative and Office Management experience, Meg began her career over 17 years ago as an agent with a major life insurance company. Upon completion of her training and experience in the field she accepted the role of Office Assistant for a local financial planning firm. Over her 15 year tenure with that firm she was promoted several times with a final promotion to Office Manager in 1999.
As the Life Insurance Specialist at Ownership Advisors, Inc. Meg assists our clients throughout the underwriting process. Her knowledge and industry experience are assets to our firm and she is committed to helping people get the insurance they need with the least time, trouble and cost. Her role doesn�t end with the issuance of a policy, she is here for any questions you may have regarding your insurance program or for any of your service needs.
In her spare time she enjoys reading, movies, hiking and learning about different wines. Whenever she can she volunteers for local charities or fund raising events.

Joyce Schindler brings 14 years of executive assistant and office management experience to Ownership Advisors. With over ten years in financial services, Joyce understands the sensitivity necessary when dealing with private family wealth matters. While experience is important, attitude is everything. Joyce brings a quiet confidence to our office each day allowing us to be more effective in delivering on our promises to clients. Without drawing attention to herself, Joyce consistently anticipates our needs and gets things done. Our clients appreciate her positive attitude, professional approach and warm spirit.
Joyce and her husband Jim love visiting museums and hiking. Baron, their black lab, prefers the hiking however. Joyce is an active member of Divinity Lutheran Church and serves on several boards and committees along with active involvement in the Via de Cristo movement.

Ann brings over 20 years of marketing, management and customer service experience in the areas of insurance and risk management. Prior to joining Ownership Advisors, Ann worked as Manager of the Department of Financial Institutions for the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies in Cleveland, Ohio where she was responsible for underwriting and marketing of property and casualty insurance products for the financial services industry.
Ann is involved with a number of special projects for Ownership Advisors, including the communication and delivery of our Loving Will� program services. Ann is active at Bay Presbyterian Church where she recently served as Clerk of Session . She has been active in the design and implementation of the church�s strategic alignment process and has facilitated adult education classes and bible studies. Ann also sings soprano in the Promise choir.
Ann�s passion is helping others understand and maximize their full potential. She is a certified trainer in both Myers Briggs and Dale Carnegie programs.

Jeff Saunders is a Certified Public Accountant and attorney with almost 20 years experience specializing in estate and tax planning for high net worth families. Jeff also brings creativity and experience to the process of exit planning for small business owners and works with the top 1% of estate and business planning specialists nationally. Jeff enjoys using his analytical strengths to help develop creative but conservative strategies that complement the mission, vision, values and goals of his clients. Jeff advocates a team approach to planning that puts the client in control of the process. He believes in zero tax strategies that eliminate all capital gains and estate taxes.
Jeff has an accounting degree from Ball State University and a law degree from Indiana University. He started his career in the tax department at Arthur Andersen, where he met his wife Carol.

Jim is President of SES Advisors, Inc. and founding partner of Steiker, Fischer, Edwards & Greenapple, P.C. A corporate, pension and tax lawyer, Jim has more than twenty years of experience as a legal and financial advisor in Employee Stock Ownership Plan and other employee ownership matters, focusing primarily on ESOP design, installation and transactions in privately-held companies.
Jim is a Trustee of the Employee Ownership Foundation and a member of the Finance Committee of The ESOP Association. He is a frequent speaker on ESOP matters and has authored several articles for the Journal of Employee Ownership Law and Finance. Jim also serves as a director of several employee-owned companies and is a member of TEC International, an organization of CEOs.
Jim is a graduate of New York University School of Law, where he was a Root-Tilden-Snow Scholar, and of Wesleyan University.
