Ervis Mellani brings over 12 years of experience in the financial services industry. From an early age, helping his parents and other Albanian immigrant families translate, Ervis got a crash course in family and financial planning. This developed a passion in him to help other families better prepare for their financial future. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Cleveland State University, he began working with Prudential as a Financial Professional. He then moved to a position with Capitas Financial where he was brought in as a subject matter expert by some of the top Financial Advisors in the Cleveland area to assist them and their clients with accumulation, protection and wealth transfer strategies.
He brings his continued passion to our firm with a specific focus on planning for a Long-Term Care event, and has completed the CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) designation through the American College of Financial Planning.
Ervis is very engaged in the community. He is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland where he serves on the membership committee. He is a member of the Cleveland Council on World Affairs / Cleveland Council on Foreign Relations. He is a member of the Albanian-American Association of Cleveland where he serves as a board member. He serves as a member on the Community Engagement Committee for the Girls Scouts of North East Ohio. Ervis is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Small Business Council of America.
Ervis lives in Lakewood with his cat that he rescued from the Animal Protective League, who he named Freddie Kreuger . He loves spending time with his family and friends and is always looking for ways to spoil his nephew Enzo. In his spare time, Ervis enjoys listening to audio books and tinkering with different electronic gadgets.
